I think you're mostly right. GSP will not take the psychological beatdown Swick took. I'd give Hardy more than just one round, though. I still think GSP will get the win, but Hardy's got a killer instinct and one heck of a chin on him.

This was an amazing fight. Coture schooled Vera on cage control, and while Vera scored himself a round, Coture looked like the Randy of old.

UFC 105

Not a lot to say, other than for once I agree with the judging. Coture looked good and the Hardy-Swick fight was fantastic.

The knockouts from the prelims were something else, although the Gustafsson fight should have been stopped the moment that Hamman's mouthpiece flew off (he was already lights out).

Parting shot: I can't wait for the GSP-Hardy fight on Feb 6 at UFC 109.

Starting Strong

So I finally stopped talking about it and enrolled in BJJ classes. Today was my second class and my only regret is not starting sooner.

Late last month I decided to make the call and put in an info request to Balance Studios in Philly. I did my trial class on Tuesday night and signed up immediately. I had my second class today, taught by none other than Phil Migliarese himself.
