Welcome to Jason "The Professor" Bright's page. My journey into the martial arts started many years ago under the tutelage of the deadly Shihan. This journey led me to the level of bown belt in the system of Okinawa Kenpo Karate (it's true you can even ask Keith50) . In addition to perfecting many of the kata's I was also instructed in the use of nunchucku, single stick, double stick, Bo/staff and spontaneous knife defense. Oh yeah and dim mak (that's the death touch incase you didn't know). After winning the fall kumite classic I was set to go back to the motherland of Japan and participate in the Pride heavyweight grandprix (yeah I am that big of a deal) but that damn Dana White had to go and close it down. He must have heard about me training with Shihan. I decided not to enter the UFC because they do not allow knees and kicks to the head of a downed opponent and I figured if I cannot do that then why bother.
Anyway knowing that I was so deadly in the stand-up arts I decided to start working on my ground game. That's when I met John Wilson, he runs this outfit Delco BJJ. I went there one day to check it out, just to make sure it was up to my standards being that I am so deadly with my hands and all. Well a year and a half later I am still there. I have gotten really good too. Noone in the kids and teens class can even come close to my level. The adult class, well I don't want to embarrass anyone they are all pretty much afraid of me. I can understand why, I mean come on I'm 5'8" and like 135lbs and that's without the gi!
