Too bad with your knees and ...well the rest of your body:) But again you problaly had 10 great years with mma. I`M not a mma fighter my selfe. Had some mix fight at smaller shows when i was young:) But fought regulary in Thai Boxing and Knock Down Karate back then. It`s now also band in Norway.
But after i broke my jaw once it was so much problem when doing mma, thai box etc.so have been a coach recent years. That`s been great too:)
So my training is basicly been submission and bjj the last year...Like it a lot.
How knows.Maybe we show up on your school one day:)
hey bro, your english sounds fine to me! man, i used to be able to speak really good Danish... it's not so good any more! lol! in college many of swedish students would here me speaking danish and thought i was from denmark, because it sounded so ugly! lol! my girlfriend in college was half norsk and half dansk, so we spoke as much danish as we did in english. she spoke dansk/norsk, because her parents mixed the languages. so, that's how i learned how to understand more norsk! but, dansk is harder for people to speak or understand. so, i focused more on dansk because her parents would try to talk bad about me when i was in the same room. they knew that i could only speak a little norsk that my farmor had taught me. her parents hated me! lol! i was lucky at the university, my teacher was from Arhus, i never did any of my paper work...but, since i could speak and write it all really good i still got perfect scores! all of the american teachers made me do all of my paper work, or they would give me bad scores, even if i knew everything? lol!
anyways, i hope your training is going well! i'm just running my school and having fun:) i retired from fighting in 2007, after 10 years of MMA fighting. my body was falling apart, i have had 4 knee surgeries and one on my shoulder. i'm need surgery on both of my knees, again? but, i don't want to get it done. i feel better rolling on the mats and being on my knees than i do walking. so, maybe i should just stop walking? lol! if you are ever in the states, come train with us in Tacoma, WA!
Hej Jan, mit navn er Jimmy Thompson og jeg kan ikke skrive Norsk, og Dansk...men de er ikke sa godt. jeg udtale, skrive og snakke mere Dansk... men min ex-girlriend var Norsk...so, i can understand some norsk and i have found that i can get by with the dansk, i learned as a boy, with most norskaner and svenskaner. just wanted to stop in and say "Hej" to a scandinavian brother in Jiu Jitsu! hope i didn't butcher the language too badly! lol!
