Mifune passed away in 1965....and judjing by his apperance in the film, it was probally made in the late 50's to the early 60's. Did you check out his escapes at the 2:45 point. He has some sick escape moves rarely seen today...a really sweet armbar and triangle escape also. The fact that he was flexiable enough to pull them off so smoothly at his age, is awesome!
